A native of Corinth, MS, Andrew Labas is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ partner with Cooley & Labas Financial Advisors as well as a General Securities Principal, OSJ holding a FINRA Series, 7, 24, and 66 licenses. In addition, Andrew has achieved his CWS (Certified Wealth Specialist), and AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) certifications and is a life insurance and long-term care agent. Andrew also hosts “The Advisors Roundtable, “ radio show on SuperTalk MS 94.3FM.
Andrew was elected in 2010 and again in 2014 as Alderman of Ward 1 and enjoys public service, managing city government, economic development, and being instrumental in setting the vision for the city of Corinth. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Business Information Systems and Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Planning.
After graduating college, Andrew moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was employed as a Financial Advisor by UBS Financial Services, Inc. formerly PaineWebber for four years until he made his decision to move back to Mississippi. Andrew partnered with Greg Cooley to form Cooley & Labas Financial Advisors in Corinth.
Andrew has been married 15 years to his wife the former Kimberly Brasseal of Natchez. They have two sons, John Burton and Thomas Henry and one daughter, Mary Margaret. Andrew has been actively involved in Main Street Corinth, Corinth Theatre Arts, Rotary, The Lighthouse Foundation, Cub Scouts, Verandah-Curlee House Preservation Foundation, and the Downtown Athletic Club.
